35th and 25th Anniversary
Read more about the 35th Anniversary Flight 232 in 2024. Dr. Mitchell Simmons and Susan White returned with a very moving presentation from Dr. Simmons research on a perspective of Susan White that had not previously been reported.
We are also using these pages to archive the 25th Anniversary of United Flight 232 where the flight crew including Capt Al Haynes, Capt Bill Records, Jan Brown, Susan White, and others.
The museum is home to a beautiful exhibit to remember Flight 232 built in cooperation with the Community of Siouxlanders.
The museum is located on Runway 22, the old WWII closed runway that Captain Al Haynes could see and the crew could manage to get to.
In 2014, the 25th anniversary of Flight 232, brought the crew, responders, and families together in Sioux City. The event also built an exhibit and garden at the air museum to honor all involved.
