Pancake Breakfast - July 18, 8 - 12 noon
The Mid America Museum of Aviation & Transportation will serve a pancake breakfast among history on Saturday, July 18 from 8am to noon at the museum at 2600 Expedition Court in Sioux City Iowa. Tickets will be available at the door at $8 for adults and $5 for children under the age of 7 years old. Tickets include admission to the museum to experience new exhibits and relive old! New exhibits include an 1947 Ercoupe restored into a museum parade plane, a restored 1971 Camaro, a Public Safety Exhibit and updates to the United Flt. 232 Exhibit
The story of this classic muscle maven begins on April 2, 1971 when Richard and Rosemary Alter purchased the family sports car. The 1971 Camaro began as a family staple, and became a muscle car of memories as it cruised across European countries. Now this restored beauty is on display at the Mid America Museum of Aviation & Transportation.

KidWind Challenge held at the museum
Kid Wind is a hands-on experience that allows student to explore wind energy as an alternative energy source. The students are given the challenge to design a turbine to generate the most power. The students use everyday materials they can find and put them together to make their turbine more effective. The student report on their design to judges and are also judged on their turbines performance in the wind tunnel. Students from 5-8th grade will be competing.
