KidWind Challenge held at the museum
Kid Wind is a hands-on experience that allows student to explore wind energy as an alternative energy source. The students are given the challenge to design a turbine to generate the most power. The students use everyday materials they can find and put them together to make their turbine more effective. The student report on their design to judges and are also judged on their turbines performance in the wind tunnel. Students from 5-8th grade will be competing.
Museum hours will be 10 - 4 - days are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday; 12 - 4 on Sunday.
Veterans Day Program
Veterans were honored at the air museum on Saturday, November 8. Doors opened at 10:00, program started at 11.
