IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR VISITORS FOR THE CAF B-29 FIFI, T-6, PT-13 VISIT. AIRCRAFT ARE NOT PARKED NEXT TO THE MUSEUM BECAUSE OF TAXIWAY DETERIORATION.
The air museum is located in Sioux City, Iowa on the north east corner of the Sioux Gateway Airport.
Aircraft will be positioned near Gate 5 on the south end of the field at 6121 Pershing Drive, Sioux City. Thanks to Hawthorne Aviation and the Sioux Gateway Airport Authority for helping to accommodate the CAF fleet.
August 7 - 11, 2019
To get to the CAF fleet from Interstate I-29 Exit 141:
Turn off I-29 at Exit 141 and travel east toward the Sioux Gateway Airport on Aviation Blvd. Turn left onto Discovery Blvd, stay on Discovery Blvd, turn right onto Parkman Ave, and turn right onto Pershing St. Follow signs for parking (about 2 minutes once you are off the interstate).
To get to the Mid America Museum of Aviation & Transportation from Interstate I-29 Exit 141:
Turn off I-29 at Exit 141 and travel east toward the Sioux Gateway Airport. Follow the brown Air Museum signs. Turn right (north) on Al Haynes Drive and travel approximately .8 miles. Turn left (west) on Expedition Court to the museum located at 2600 Expedition Court (about 3 minutes once you are off the interstate).
Look for small brown Air Museum signs to navigate the construction.
