IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR VISITORS - ROAD CONSTRUCTION AROUND THE MUSEUM WILL TAKE YOU THROUGH DETOURS. FOLLOW BROWN MUSEUM SIGNS.
For FIRST TIME VISITORS - the air museum is located in Sioux City, Iowa on the north east corner of the Sioux Gateway Airport.
To get to the Mid America Museum of Aviation & Transportation from Interstate I-29 Exit 141:
Turn off I-29 at Exit 141 and travel west toward the Sioux Gateway Airport. Follow the brown Air Museum signs. Turn right (north) on Al Haynes Drive, Turn left (west) on Expedition Court to the museum located at 2600 Expedition Court (about 3 minutes once you are off the interstate).
Look for small brown Air Museum signs to navigate the construction.
AVOID HARBOR DRIVE FROM SINGING HILLS BLVD/INDUSTRIAL RD. beginning in mid October.
Al Haynes Drive does not show up on Google maps yet.
