Location & Directions
The Mid America Museum of Aviation & Transportation is located in Sioux City, Iowa on the north east corner of the Sioux Gateway Airport.
Sioux City, Iowa is located in western Iowa at the junction of the states of Iowa, Nebraska and South Dakota, approximately 89 miles north of Omaha, Nebraska and 89 miles south of Sioux Falls, South Dakota on Interstate I-29.
There’s plenty of FREE on-site parking for cars, RVs, cars with trailers, motor coaches, school buses and semi tractor/trailers.
To get to the Mid America Museum of Aviation & Transportation from Interstate I-29 Exit 141:
Turn off I-29 at Exit 141 and travel east toward the Sioux Gateway Airport. Follow the brown Air Museum signs. Turn north on Discovery Blvd. and travel .6 miles. Turn left (north) on Harbor Drive and travel .5 miles, turn left (west) on Expedition Court for .2 miles to the museum located at 2600 Expedition Court.
Look for small brown Air Museum signs to navigate the construction.
