Experience the Golden Age of Aviation

GO    Liberty, the 1928 Ford Tri-Motor 5-AT-B, serial No. 8, flew its first flight on December 1, 1928.

    May 12 - 15, Liberty will fly passengers in Sioux City.  When you purchase a flight, you'll also receive a companion entrance into the air museum.  This will be part of Liberty's summer tour based out of Oshkosh, Wisconsin the EAA World Headquarters.
 

    BOOK A FLIGHT To Fly on the Ford, and experience the golden age of aviation, Buy a Ticket - you will purchase  the ticket direct from the EAA's website prior to the event, and at the gate during the visit.. 
     GO TO  Hawthorne Aviation Services, 5815 Mitchell St. for your flight.  Hawthorne is located just north of the main terminal and tower at the airfield in Sioux City. Liberty will be close to Gate 11.  Visitors will see the aircraft and plenty of parking available in the Hawthorne parking lot. 
     COMPLIMENTARY ENTRANCE to the air museum with your flight purchase.  Just bring your ticket by.
