Thank you to the camp sponsors!

Session 1 June 5 and 6, 2026 for 8th – 12th graders
Session 2 June 12 and 13, 2026 for 6th – 7th graders
Two Day Camp - Friday and Saturday (note new day sequence)
9:00 am – 3:00 pm
Junior Pilots will dive into the thrilling world of aviation as they learn the basics of flight, explore airport facilities, and even plan their very own cross-country flight! This camp is the ultimate mini ground school, packed with interactive lessons on flight operations, communication, and the exciting career opportunities in aviation.
Each day kicks off at the air museum, where students will attend ground school in the cockpit of a Boeing 727, transformed into a state-of-the-art STEM classroom. From there, they’ll take flight into the world of aviation, learning the ins and outs of flying, navigation, and how pilots make decisions under pressure.
The highlight of the day? A Discovery Flight! Students will take to the sky in small groups aboard a single-engine aircraft, putting their cross-country planning skills to the test. This hands-on flight experience will let them apply everything they've learned— from navigating the skies to communicating with air traffic control. It’s the perfect way to wrap up the day with a real-world, practical adventure in aviation.
This isn’t just a camp; it’s the first step toward becoming a Junior Pilot!
Camp size is limited to 21 students per session to insure one on one instruction.
