Inspire & Introduce Kids to Aviation

Launched in 1992, the Young Eagles program has dedicated more than 25 years to giving youth ages 8–17 their first free ride in an airplane.  And they receive a completion Certificate logging their hours.
It’s the only program of its kind, with the sole mission to introduce and inspire kids in the world of aviation.
On Sunday, July 24, EAA Chapter 291 will host a Young Eagle event at Sioux Gateway Airport beginning at 9:00
ADDITIONALLY - Young Eagle Flights will be available for the kids as pilots are available.  Daily Lists will be posted.
GO TO  Hawthorne Aviation Services, 5815 Mitchell St. for your flight.  Hawthorne is located just north of the main terminal and tower at the airfield in Sioux City.
Thank you to Hawthorne Aviation for sponsoring the Young Eagles on their ramp!
