The Mid America Museum of Aviation and Transportation is hosting a Big Band Dance on March 29, 2014. The event will be held at the museum located at 2600 Expedition Court, Sioux City, Iowa 51102.

Doors will open at 5:00pm. Dinner, provided by Aggies Catering, will be served at 6:00pm. The dance will begin at 7:00pm, which will feature the Mearl Lake Orchestra.

The event is thirty dollars for an individual and fifty dollars for a couple.  We encourage our guests to wear attire from the 1940s, as there will be a costume contest. Don't worry about your dancing ability, dance lessons are provided upon arrival. Proceeds will benefit the Flight 232 Anniversary.

January 6 through 19th 2014, Mid America Museum of Aviation & Transportation was the beneficiary of local HyVee Stores "OPERATION HELPFUL SMILE" where customers could donate change or cash at each register checkout during the two week period. On Tuesday, January 28th, Museum Director Larry Finley was presented $1,313.02 by the HyVee managers. Special 'thanks' to HyVee for their continued community service.
