The Big Band Dance held on March 29th was a success! The event served as a fundraiser to support our new Flight 232 display. We had 120 people attend the event. Aggies catering of Sergeant Bluff served a delicious meal, and the Mearl Lake Orchestra charmed the audience with their musical talents. Our very own board member, Pete Hittle, played the trumpet in the band. The museum interns Lindsay Martin and Nancy Seeman entertained the audience by teaching dance moves that had almost everyone on their feet. The museum would like to thank everyone in attendance for his or her support and we look forward to hosting more dances in the future!
